Truck hauling 3500 gallons plus liquid fertilizer overturns on court square. We had what might could have been a much bigger scare if this load wasn't more than farm fertilizer.

Hey, I heard that while it was going on! The fire chief was complaining about so many people including the media, being at the scene when he arrived. It definitely was a real life exercise that could happen with dangerous materials at anytime. Overall I thought it was handled well. I will admit for that to happen right in the courthouse square was odd.

Some farm fertilizers are dangerous, luckily this wasn't.

I was getting ready to be on my way out of town when I heard on my scanner that it just overturned. I was only about 3 blocks away but I didn't hear it. I started to double back and go back but one of the officers saw me and said it was unsafe to do so. I went on out of town then.This was all before the Haz-Mat stuff was realized & mentioned.
