I'm assuming you are talking about MOSWIN. No MSHP users have switched over yet, but they do have radios installed in most areas around the state. I have heard testing once, but that's it. It will be testing you would mostly likely hear.

Yeah, I think so. I've seen some people post they have heard testing on weekends. I've never heard testing during a weekend, but I heard them wrapping up around 5PM once. When I heard them it was crystal clear for P25. I had about 3 bars on my 996T and I heard them like they were across the street.

Troop E is using MOSWIN quite often. The Van Buren site covers parts of Troop E. Having said that keep in mind that a VHF P25 system uses many sites and users must be affiliated to the site to hear conversations. It is possible that MSHP is using it in the area but the cars are not affiliated with the tower. The Poplar Bluff tower carries some MOSWIN traffic but the Bloomfield tower carries 90% of MSHP traffic on MOSWIN. I am unsure if this is by design or circumstance. There are numerous times that RR users think the system is "off" because they have not heard any traffic on a particular site. Hearing a control channel does not guarantee traffic from a user. P.S. I am hearing Troop E on the Bloomfield tower as I type this.

So Troop E has been using MOSWIN?? Are they using both 42mhz and MOSWIN, or just MOSWIN?

Both. MOSWIN has picked up greatly. More MOSWIN than 42MHz now. Problem is having to scan 8 towers trying to hear their traffic.

Maybe they are moving along quicker! Is it better than the low band at all?

Speaking of MOSWIN and not hearing much, I heard some traffic again today. MOSWIN is used, but not everyone has transitioned to it just yet.

I believe it's H, the first TG I heard was MO Interop Calling, and now I heard 20263, not sure who it is because my audio was chopped up. I've been having my scanner search all ids and holding on the system figured I would hear something maybe, and sure enough I heard something within a few minutes of doing so. My signal has been varying on the site because of interference, but I have received something atleast. This was all on the Lawson Site, 169.6625 CC.
