Probably not anytime soon... Since the Water Patrol was "absorbed" into the Highway Patrol as a new division. They will probably be working off the regular MSHP talkgroups when the migration occurrs...

Although I've heard that the Patrol won't be migrating for a bit still; but that's due to the logistics if switching out 2,000+ mobiles and who knows how many portables.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.4; en-us; ZTE-Z990 Build/GRJ22) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Does water patrol still use their VHF frequencies or are they now on VHF LO witb the troop dispatchers?

Default Missouri Water Patrol - conventional highband

It appears that all the licenses for the water patrol in the database have either expired or were recently canceled.
It's possible they could have consolidated everything into one license somewhere else, but was unable to find anything.

The Paradise repeater that I monitor used to get some random keyups from an interfering station, but haven't heard that since last summer.

If the lake itself is in 2 or more different Troops........that's possible.

The majority of Smithville Lake is in Troop A, but part of it extends into Troop H.

This past summer, you could hear the water patrol using Troop A-metro low band, Troop H low band, or Paradise high band, for which both troop A and H had access to.

It's all history now, but it seems that whenever they were on the road, they used low band, and used high band on the water.
