There is an Uniden 396T adv for sale for $250.. on the RR classified. Is this a decent price and
am I correct that WILL work for scanning LIberty PD and Clay County Sheriff ??

Yes, that one will work for both. $250 sounds like a pretty good deal to me considering the 396XT is still going for close to $450-$500.

If you end up getting one, I'd go with the 396XT, since it has some extra features, but that's just me. I was going to say, if you get one, I know how to program them fairly well, so if you had any questions feel free to ask, or PM me.

Well, SWMBO, insisted I buy a new one...even tho on a pension we pinch our pennies, so she
said to get new not used, yeaaay for me!!!! Just got the 396xt on amazon for $370.00 deliverd...
Will prob holler for help programming later...thanks guys...

Excellent choice...you'll be happy with it for sure. $370 is one heck of a deal!
