Default MHP Butte

I have not been able to pick up any MHP units on Butte Direct or Mac Pass repeater. Any chance they've also switched to the state APCO system?

I am also courious about this.

I have heard testing data bursts on one of our sites(3 for the county)for the statewide system a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully this system will finally be off the ground by early 2009. As the database states early 2008.

Local Radio Shack store seems to confirm the change over, but not positively. Since this is the same sort of difference as I remember happening when Helena units moved to the digital system, I guess this is the case. I dont have a digital scanner here anymore. Time to upgrade I guess. Not sure if BSB is following yet, I get a little bit of their traffic still.

Check scanamerica.us click on map of Montana. select live feed for the Butte area. I dont think Butte has gone to APCO.

That particular site only has Yellowstone, Missoula, Lake and Flathead counties. Even so, it wouldn't help me determine which system MHP was using.
