Default Kalispell PD on MT State System

Sounds to me like Kalispell PD went to the MT State system this morning. I heard an officer announce she was going "All digital" on 156.210 - which has since been silent today.

Traffic is on the Lakeside and Kalispell sites on the system, Talkgroup 4785.

Scanner Frequencies: Montana Statewide Interoperable Public Safety Radio Trunking System, Statewide, Montana

Warm regards,

Lindsay

Jeffrey,

You'll need one of the latest scanners digital scanners that supports P25 Trunking and P25 Digital Voice to monitor KPD.

there is no way to monitor them with a Pro 2055.

Warm regards,

Looks like Kalispell PD went off the new system over the past few days.

After the transition, I heard the officers complain about problems... they went back and forth from the system to the old VHF system.... but ultimately settled on the State P25 network.

However on Friday I believe they might have moved back to VHF.

End result is keep an eye on 156.210 for the meantime while they figure it out.

Update: It looks like they might be back on the P25 network now. I'm running the live feed from Big Mountain with the new state system... Link below:
