Did you get this information off the Internet or somewhere else I can take a look at? This is good stuff and I would like to see it in its original format. Good catch! Thanks.
EDIT** It is interesting to see that there are several repeaters on the northern portion of the Forest and only one on the southern portion. My memory of the Bitterroot is that the southern end of the Forest is more rugged than the north. I would like to drive the Magruder road one of these days and monitor all these frequencies while doing so.
EDIT TWO*** I took a look at your profile. Never mind my question about the source. I applied for a job, I think on the Spotted Bear Ranger District, many years ago. It was, and is possibly the last, in and out Ranger District. This is where the District Office has a winter location in town and is moved to a distant location during the summer. The Spotted Bear RD moves back into Hungry Horse for the winter. The best of these in and outs was the Moose Creek RD on the Nezperce. It was in Grangeville, upstairs in the Post Office building, and then moved out to the Moose Creek Ranger Station for the summer, located quite some distance inside the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. They put the filing cabinets and everything else in DC-3's and flew to the dirt strip next to the station. I applied for a job there also, but was selected for a position somewhere else first.
The above observations are by memory only, I haven't looked up my old files on all of this for quite some time, so I may have some of the details wrong.
