Default Missoula, Montana

Can anyone listen to my feed please and try and help me out with the quality? It sounds terrible! I have the volume knob on the actual scanner set to about 40% and the volume slider on the software set to about 70% but it still sounds bad.

Any advice would be helpful!

It does sound terrible. Too much gain on the input perhaps?

Hmm, no, I have the scanner itself and the software set to half way or less. Any other ideas? The sound card is new...

[Edit] The new sound card was onboard. Apparently it's junk. :0/

Smile Fixed!

Ok, the problem turned out to be the on-board sound card. I installed a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS and all the appropriate drivers and now it seems to be streaming buttery smooth sound. :0)
