Default Northwest MT

Is there any coverage of the statewide P25 system in NW Montana? Specifically Lincoln County, Libby area?

Default scanner frequencies

Hi
I do not have P25 on my scanner but I do have a website that has scanner frequencies for the libby and lincoln county area that might help you. freewebs.com/cjrjr507/
By the way if you do not have the border patrol freqs. they are 170.7750 and 163.7250 out of
Bonner's Ferry. They are in the clear, not digital. Have almost 200 freq's. in the list and also
my scanner can pick up military air and have some freq's for that listed on the site.

I have not heard any P25 signals as of yet in the libby or lincoln county area. They are upgrading some of the systems around here according to this doc I found on the net;
interop.mt.gov/docs/Lincoln_County_FY05_AFG_Grant.doc
Hope this helps.

Hi ocguard
I'm picking up comms on 165.9125, either BATF ch. 5 operations PL 103.5 or ATF F5 Surveillance. Somebody just giving 10 codes so far; 10-19; enroute from scene or returning to station. Will keep you informed of what I'm hearing. It is in the clear so far. I think it's coming out of idaho. boundary area

Here's another Border Patrol Freq I found 163.6250 from Boundary County,ID. There may be P25 signals on this once in a while but not very often, mostly voice. it's the Nationwide Primary Channel. Have fun scanning.

I think 165.9125 is BATF F-09 Operations, not ch 5 ops - Sounds like operations, not surveillance.
