Default On star radio

I took the on star radio out of my Impala today. Are these radios worth anything to anyone? It says it is a Motorola radio with 3 watts of TX power. Model number is GNN6N7AWAN. I am having problems picking up a local TRS and I didn't know if my on star was TXing, desensing my scanner or not. I didn't have the on star activated.

Its an integrated GPS receiver and fancy cellular telephone. So basicly the answer
is its probably only worth something to someone who needs a replacement.

And, depending on the year of your Impala, it might be an analog phone system, which is no longer any good to anyone!

Thanks for the replies.

Do you know if the on-star TXs even if you are not paying for the service?

I don't think there was any "continuous" TX with OnStar. But, even if yoiu weren't a subscriber and crashed (unless you killed the car's battery) the RED emergency button still worked...

I'll bet a call to on-star would give you your answers.
