I'm having a problem with one radio. It always interferes with a different frequency. We have two frequency's A and B frequency. The B frequency will always interferes with the A. Is this cause by high power? Now when I'm on the A, I could hear the one radio on the B, But he can't hear me. The radio is a CM300 and I think it's programmed to 12.5 watts. Does anybody know what I could do before I take his radio and crush it with my Toploader.

Could it be the same frequency but with a different PL/DPL?

Yes I think there are the same frequency but different codes. I really don't know how to program them. If any tips that would be great.

If it is the same frequency, but different pl, it will still cause problems. Even with the different tone. All that does is allow some people to hear what is on tone A and allow some people to hear what is on tone B. The only way you can get around it is another frequency.

I get all the details today. I'm just a machine operator there, but probably the only one that know a little about radios. I have to leave the radio on in case the bosses tries to reach me. What I can't stand is hearing the empty field coming through the channel all full of static. I think another frequency would be better also. She also had the radios on 25watts of power, Don't you think that is to high for 130 acre pier.

UHF or VHF? You could try MURS, even though the 25 watts is a little much for it, but then again, if no one complains . . . .
