Question Rebanding flash question

How would one determine whether a radio has been flashed for rebanding? Is there a particular flashcode that addresses this? Do you have to figure it out through RSS/CPS? Just wondering how that works.

Thanks,
Mark

Check the firmware revision against published specs or read the radio and see if the CPS reports it. You didn't mention what piece of equipment you are talking about so it's impossible to say anything for certain.

I was wondering if there was something in general. For subscriber units, such as the XTS5000.

Thanks for the info.

Read your radio and go to "Trunking-General;" There will be either a greyout box uncheck for "Rebanding Enabled" or the box will be checked. See:
