GP68 charger question

I have a GP68 with the charger that came with it off ebay. It has all Jap writing on the bottom, a H/L switch on the rear, and a red light with "SC" under it, a Green light with "HS" under it, and a yellow light with "Y-DI" under it.

What should I set the switch to, and what do the lights mean? The red light stays lit, and the green or yellow light up depending on how I have the switch.

I used to keep mine on L, which made the red light stay lit when charging?
I know that red means charging and green means complete
