Default Any way to scan more than 16 channels at once on an EX600xls?

Just was wondering if there is a way to program an EX600xls to scan more than 16 channels at once. Any help is appreciated.

The beloved software engineers at mother M don't believe there is a need or reason to have more than
the 15 or 16 channels that you can stuff into the radios they put out these days.

With that said, there have been some efforts by individuals to snap the codeplugs into giving up
with a few more channels. There has been some success, but not across the board on every radio.

Unless mother M feel there is a compelling reason to put effort into changing the software, it will
never happen on the current watch of the management. They don't see any $$$ for the effort of
making any change.

Motorola doesn't make scanners. They make commercial two way radios. You won't be able to get much more than 15 or 16.

How about the newer radios like the XTL series mobiles. Will they at least scan more than one list at a time?

just my opinion. although some motorola stuff is good, you can get a kenwood to do the same thing for a lot less buck's. take the kenwood tk-2170 serie's. 128 channel's, with a flexible configuration of 1 zone to 128 zone's. you can chose to put all your channel's in 1 zone <i did>. i'm sure i'll get some type of argument. just like the coke vs. pepsi thing. <i like pepsi>. having owned the tk-2170 for about 2 year's,i have to say there is very, very, very little that i don't like about it.
