Default CM300 Problems

We have a unit with a CM300 that is "bleeping" when the mic is keyed. Sounds just like the low battery indicator on the HT series handheld radios like "bleep bleep." This has been happening randomly, but today he cannot talk on the radio at all. Any ideas?

That's exactly what it is... low voltage/current from wherever the radio is getting its power.

I had a CM300 did the same thing, tried a new mic with no luck. I had the power run from the common battery post on my 03 chevy pick up so there should have been plenty of power there. It runs the 110 watt no sweat. I would guess low voltage/ current too but the 110 watt worked. Let me know if you find out anything.

Had this happen to one of our customers in forklifts, with antennas mounted on L-brackets. Turns out the radio did not like the antenna match. We removed the brackets, and put magmounts in the center of the roof, which corrected the problem on about 30 forklifts. Good Luck.
