Default MTS2000 Button/switch options

Looking for a matrix of what the switches and buttons can be programmed to do on a MTS2000 48 Mode
model number H01RDD9PW1BN, will be programmed on conventional channels only.

Some button options are dependent on the flashcode (like Onetouch, Rpt Access, etc.) Really, the only accurate listing for you radio is what CPS tells you.

I'm just reading off the values from the program, and all my MT/MTS radios are the 160 mode full keypad versions.. I'll try to point out which ones may not be available to you.

Buttons:
(these are pretty much available for any button regardless of its position/location, except the PTT, which is always PTT)
Light (if display equipped)
Monitor (squelch)
Talkaround/Direct
Chan/Sub Select
Zone/Sys Select
Phone
Scan
Unprogrammed
Volume Set Tone
Nuisance Delete
Call Response
Dynamic Priority
MPL
Emergency

Switches:

Rotary Control:
Chan/Sub Select
Zone/Sys Select
Blank

Two-Position Concentric Switch (at base of rotary control):
(one option for each of position A and position B)
Talkaround/Direct
Tx Inhibit
Chan/Sub Select
Zone/Sys Select
Scan
Blank
PL Disable
Tx Low Power
Scan List Prgm
Keypad Lock
(and probably Secure if the radio is equipped with encryption board(s))

Three Position Toggle A/B/C:
(one option for each position A/B/C)
Talkaround/Direct
Tx Inhibit
Chan/Sub Select
Zone/Sys Select
Scan
Blank
PL Disable
Tx Low Power
Scan List Prgm
Keypad Lock

bezking & Jay911

Thank you for the replys, bezking, makes sense to see after downloading the codeplug, problem is that i dont have the capability to program and it is going to have to be shipped to me, so i need to figure out a head of time what the button and switch assignments are going to be.

Thankyou for the list Jay911 even if there are more or less, that is a good start.

Edit: Is PL Disable avalible for the side buttons?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9000/4.6.0.282 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)

I have my radios set up like this:

Rotary: Chan Select
Two-pos concentric: Scan/Blank
A/B/C: Keypad lock/Blank/Blank
Orange button: Volume Set Tone
Blue button: Nuisance Delete
SB1 (directly below blue): Monitor
SB2 (directly above PTT): Light

On 48ch top-display radios, holding down blue (I think) will 'flip' the display which helps if trying to read it on your belt.

I don't know about PL disable but you might be able to do MPL (Multiple PL) with one selection just being CSQ..

I dont know if this is the right forum or thread, but since it's about MT2000's. I have 4 UHF 160 Ch radios that I would like to have checked/serviced. Any recommendations of a trusted tech, hopefully a RR member? Thanks
