Default Quick HT1250 Programming question

Hey, everyone.

I got my conventional channels programmed into my new HT1250 LS, but I cant figure out how to add an identifier to the channels so it puts out the tone etc.

Can someone help me with that?

Thanks!

Scott

Be more specific. What is an Identifier? Because you have an HT1250*LS, you are not able to use MDC1200 or Quickcall II tones on conventional channels. For that, you will need a regular HT1250 or an HT1250*LS+ of the proper model.

An identifier meaning the "Squak" tone that the radio puts out and hits the console to identify which radio is transmitting on a given frequency.

So with the LS, its not possible to assign these?

Maybe the best way to describe what I'm looking to add to the radio is a PTT ID in conventional mode. Is this possible?

Not on the HT1250*LS. That "squack" is called MDC1200. On the LS, that is not possible in conventional mode.
