HT1250..side pin replacement?

The accessory pins on the side of my radio are corroded and wore off...not allowing me to program it. Does anyone know the part number for just the pin area? Do I need a whole new board? Thanks!

You can usually get replacement housings on ebay fairly reasonably.

What you need is a new flex ribbon, you don't need to recase the radio. what I would do is try and find a HT750 that is listed non working or for parts only and take the flex out of that.

Is the board completely corroded through? I noticed with a few HT1250's at work that don't have the accessory port covers had a slight bit of corrosion on the contacts. I was able to gently scrape the oxidation off with a tiny screwdriver, and it worked fine.

Universal Connector Flex - Motorola p/n 8415169H01 list $ 16

You will also need a new escutcheon (black sticker) for the universal connector p/n 1386058A01, list $ 11 (24 pack)

You'll need the equipment & skills to unsolder the microphone and speaker from the old flex and to install them on the replacement flex.

I'm surprised that the new flex's don't come with a mic or speaker.
