It is a 16 pin accessory connector. Some of the pins are mic audio, speaker audio, ground, PTT, internal speaker. Depending on the radio, some pins can be modified in CPS. Check over at Batlabs for more info

its a 16 pin accessory connector. It can do different functions, it depends on whats pins are being used and what they want to do with

Do you have the spec. document for each pin out of Motorola XTL2500 ? Thanks

The accessory connector on the XTL2500 does not look like the one in the pic above
but here is the XTL2500 Pinout.
