Default Motorola Minitor IV

I'm about to buy a minitor IV off ebay and the guy says he can program it for me. I want to be able to program it myself but the cradles cost $100!! Is there a cheaper way?

There is a thread on here about building a programming cradle out of the charger by using a radio shack scanner programming cable and a stereo jack and a few small tacks. I built mine for under five dollars and it works great. You can find the software if you look hard enough...

You can download the Minitor IV software for free on MOL.
