2: SB43AAU111OLBQ
3: MBC33CKA3103ATSP01

The MBC33's are MTR-300 repeaters. I'll work on the rest.

Here's the brochure...http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...maAgFA&cad=rja

No. CXB is a MSF5000. All others are greek to me (and SP to boot).

I'll make a SWAG and say it's some crazy canadian stuff.

MTR300? At first glance I was gonna call you out on this one but then I checked the link. Way cool, never seen one. Looks Micor-ish. Whats got me puzzled is it states PLL/VCO and channel elements in the splash. WTF?

I remember these. You have some VHF and some UHF MBC's. These radios were made in the early 80's and are part of the old spectra tac equipment line that was used in mounitin top's.

Motorola stoped support on these in the 90's.

They were designed so that a radio tech at the site could stay in contact with the other tech's by using the rack radio and or a base band radio.

I installed about a dozen of these in the 80's thru out Western Wash and in Oregon.

At the end of the year, they will only be legal to use on the ham bands.

You're assuming he's in the US. FCC rules don't mean squat in his neck of the woods.
