GR1225 Repeater

I have a question for the group: I purchased a working GR1225 VHF Repeater, but I am unable to read radio to make changes to it. I am using RSS Ver 3.2 and tried both rib-less USB cable on XP machine and GM300 Cable to RIB to serial with XP machine and nothing. I get com error that radio is either not on, or rib not present. I checked through device manager and correct comport to USB, etc. I have programmed these radios before in the past, but cannot understand the problem today. I have the correct USB driver that came with the RIB-Less cable and it did work for me on another GR1225 last year.

Any help would be most appropriated.

You need version 4.0 for XP. Version 3.2 won't work properly on XP.
