Question Another Min V programming question

I have a Minitor V issued through my department that I don't touch. I also have another one I picked up on my own for around the house that I have set up the same as the department issued one. In mine own I also have all of our mutual aid departments set so I can hear when they go out. I've been programming V's for a few years now and never had issues getting something programmed but recently I tried adding another of our mutual aid departments and I'm stumped.

I can only get them to trip for dispatches about 10% of the time. The problem I'm running into is the (confirmed) tone sets are way off from what any of the defaults are so I'm looking for some advice on what else I can try to get them to work. The A/B for Fire is 711 / 1914 and the A/B for the EMS is 711 / 1236 and I'm having a heck of a time finding a combination to get them to trip consistently. If it was for the department one I'd just run over and grab one of their pagers and read it to check their programming but since it's for my own I want to try to get it on my own first. Any advice on what to try?

Those tones don't belong to any tone system I have listed in my files.

I know you said they were "confirmed", but if they aren't working all the time and they don't match any known paging system's tones, it's reasonable to suggest that you take some extra steps to verify what the tones really are.

Also, you need to know that tone system is used on the General tab of the Minitor V work screen.

Can't you just set the tone set to "User?"

It is set to user. Like I said it's not a major deal because it's my personal pager & not something needed for the department programming but it's driving me crazy to try to get this one figured out. The tones go back to the days when that department had it's own dispatch center. At the time they had 6 individual station tones and the EMS tone. All of them were very weird tone sets like this that I've never seen before either. Once they switched over to the County dispatch center they kept the EMS tones the same and took one of the 6 station tones and made it department-wide.

Here's a link to the tones (Fire 1st then EMS) if anybody wants to try and ID them better than what I have had them confirmed to me as being:

I haven't poked around in Engineer Mode yet but I just made some tweaks to what I have in there. Now I just need to wait for them to get a call to see if it worked. They're one of the busier departments so it shouldn't take too long. If it works I'll let everybody know.

Try 716.1/1830.5 Fire and 716.1/1185.2 EMS

They are almost identical to tones we have here in my area, which are old QC-I tone sets.
