Does motorola type ii control channel show data

I am wondering if Motorola Type II UHF control channel show dats when tuned on frequency? I have several trunking sounding freqencies I am testing. Like when you tune to Nsshville Metro you see some data. Does the control channel in the 400 mhz reveal same info? Thanks for any reply.

Yes sit on the control channel and it should show what talk groups are using the system. This is the same for 400 MHz also.
