Default RS232 and XPR4550

Does anyone know if the XTL RS-232 cable will also work for an XPR mobile radio? I tried it today and kept getting errors, but I also believe that my software was not the compatible version. So, before I go any further, will this cable even work or is there a way to get it to work?

The XPR USB cable will work on XTL radios. I have never tried the other way as you describe. However, make sure you are selecting the proper COM PORT in the software. Generally a db9 will be COM 1 and the USB will be something > COM 4.

Aside from that, what is the error message you are getting? What version of software?
