Default programming ht1250

new member so thank you all for letting me into your group

two questions
first is there any way for these radios to audibly tell you when you are changing channels? or even better the name you are changing to?

second
is there a "call all" some way i can call all the other channels at once that are programmed?

Nope, not to my knowledge.

Default how about

is there any way to use the "call list" to work as a "call all" so i can call all the channels on my radio at once?

along the same line can i call one particular radio within a channel of radios?

The call list is for selective tone alerting. It can not work on more than one channel at any given moment, at least in the way you are asking.

Not sure what you are asking here. A channel is loosely defined as a single frequency (or a pair of frequencies in a half duplex system) - there is no such thing as a "channel of radios."

Yes, you can use MDC1200 as a selective call scheme, but all the radios will have to be programmed a certain way to make this function work properly. In other words you cannot just add it to your radio, they all have to be in the game. This is assuming y'all have Motorola radios and the model is capable of MDC1200. The 1250 certainly is.
