Radius P110 question

Hi.. New here and have a quick question..

Thinking of purchasing a Radius P110 with a model number of P44qlc20a1aa.

I did a google search and nothing came up. The 2AA came up with a bunch of results. Maybe the seller misread the 3rd to the last digit? That is the model number of the one he is selling me.

I'm hoping its a UHF model in the 450 megahertz range. Anyone know?

What are planing to use it for? If using it in the ham bands, then you will have to do some work in the DOS based program to get it on the ham frequency's and it will not do a splitter type frequency
(4xx.xxxx).

And, the radio is way to old to do narrow banding to be used on any commerical or public service frequency.

Yes the radio is a 450-470 radio.

Cabletech it will just be used for basic GMRS direct for short range. No repeater.

Looks like a 5 watt UHF, 403 to 433 MHz, 2 channel, with PL/DPL and wide band capabilities only.

The grand oracle tells all:

403 - 433 radio will not go to GMRS,

Now that we know that you are looking for a radio to do GMRS, I am going to suggest that you look for another radio that will cover the 460 to 470 range without hacking. There are a bunch of them on the used market now at very reasonable prices. Given the wide availability of radios in that frequency range, it seems unnecessary to even think about forcing an out-of-band radio.
