The problem with beartracker (which basically monitors the input and extender freq's being used nationwide) is that it only works when the trooper has the extender on, and someone is talking on the radio at the time... usually what you would hear on that channel at that moment is the trooper calling out
your speed to the unit parked 1/4 mile up the road....

Uniden bct-12
Most of what you guys know is greek to me at this point so i humbly ask.. I'm in oklahoma and considering purchasing a uniden bct-12 beartracker for alerting me if i'm close to a cop on the highway. And was wondering if anyone had any experience with one of these and how they liked it? On a side notes its no longer in production and i haven't found a similar product on the market from another company so that makes me wonder if some legal pressure stopped this type of product? Thanks in advance for any info!
