I think he knows the point. People can now stop explaining what will happen. It's been stated multiple times.

Just a few observations on some model 2 and 3 XTS 3000 radios I have in my inventory of public safety radios.
1- They are Very battery dependent. A battery under 70% will cause intermittent transmit.
2- Motorola no longer supports the model line so replacement parts are getting harder to find. The last 2 that were taken to the Radio Shop were deemed not repairable.

As for listen only they would work fine.
