W2NJS,

I did see that thread. To be more specific I was looking for someone who had experience setting up the "Astro 25 Channel ID" settings on a VHF Moto radio for a non Moto system. Thanks

What system are you trying to access and have you talked to the system admin yet?

Gesucks,

I am attempting to put Moto radios on a Harris P25 VHF system. And yes I have had several meeting with the system admin. The problem is these are the first and only Moto radios that have been attempted to be put on the system, We have the radios affiliating with the system, we have pretty well traced the problem to the "Astro 25 Channel ID" settings. The radios key on the system and get a good clear to talk they are just never receiving the "working channel" assignment. I have talked to several agencies around so far this seems to be a pretty common problem. We have 16 pairs with sixteen different offsets with a base frequency of 152MHz. If you have any expierence setting up that Channel ID field for a VHF system any advise would be much appreciated. Please feel free to shoot me an email pd7503@gmail.com.....

Thanks for your help,
