Default Minitor IV programming question

How do I get my Min 4 to alert differently for different tones?

For example, the fire tones would alert with the standard alert, while the ambulance tones would alert with the long beep alert.

Is it a software capability, or a pager capability? I can't seem to find the option in my PPS.

Software.

Should be on the same line as the tone pair on both of the Channel Tabs. It's called Alert Tone and there is a dropdown box just to the right of the tone pair boxes.

Then on the Function Switches tab, make sure you've got the Alert Type for at least one switch position set to Tone or Tone & Vibrate.

Actually I think that's the Minitor V software.

The IV's Standard or Continuous beep have to do with the On/Off duty setting. I'm not sure which setting is which beep, as it's been a while since I've had to program a pager.
