Default XPR 7550 Fail To Read

I bought a second XPR 7550 [AAH56RDN9KA1AN]. It is an Intrinsically Safe Model. When I try to read/write to radio I get Error #1687; "Unable to detect applicable devices. Check to see if a compatible programming cable is used" ...Which it is; PMKN4012A.
Problem Radio:
Motorola CPS 11.0
Firmware Ver.: R02.06.04
CP Version 04.00.12

Original 7550 Works Fine:
AAH56RDN9KA1AN
R02.40.00
CP VERSION 07.07.07

Also a note, which I think is the problem, I dont get the Ta-Da ! When I plug the radio in VIA USB like I do with the other XPR

You need either a 'B' revision cable (or later) or to modify your old cable to work properly as the ground was moved: different programming cable for gen2 trbo radios?

Thanks, it's kinda weird that they would do that. Thankfully it works over Bluetooth so I will just do that for now so I don't have to buy ANOTHER 80 dollar cable....
