Default Lizard Lick!

If anyone watches the half-baked comedy/docu-drama/whatever on TRU TV called Lizard Lick Towing...which is a real business, in Wendell, NC...you have probably seen them using radios during their repo activities.

Now the show itself, is the atypical re-enactment type, only somewhat believable. I put the show in the same category as Pro-Wrestling. It's entertainment.

So I watch it now and then when there is nothing else on....it's been around about 3 years.

So I said that in order to say this....I did notice that they used to have Nextel handsets in use all the time. Now, on the new episodes, they are using standard handheld radios.

And the funny part is....the production end is inserting the Nextel keyup tone in the audio as the users start to talk. At first I wondered....but then the more you hear it, you can tell they are adding to the audio in post production....and they miss sometimes and show someone talking but there was no tone. So, obviously someone making the show was detailed enough to think it needed to be there....but it's just funny that they went that far to add it to the audio.

I was watching it the other day. Noticed they had the CP200s I was like what the hell is that noise mine don't do that. What I caught the most was Bobby's was off and thier channel knobs were on different channels. You gotta love post production.
