Default "Motnics" radio in CHiPs?

Just noticed this in the opening credits while watching CHiPs - is this a bootleg Motorola radio?!

Had to do with not having CHP indirectly advertise M products. You see that in a lot of movies and TV shows with M log and name blanked out, unless M paid to have the product shown, as in Nighthawks, you can see it in the credits.
