http://www.winradio.com

They have a software package for their receivers that supposedly will do MPT-1327. Their stuff is expensive though.

Unitrunker (see elsewhere on these Forums) or TrunkView (www.linato.net/trunkview), in conjunction with a range of scannners, will allow you to monitor and Trunk Track MPT1327 systems. Both of these programs are free. There are also a number of Commercial packages available.

There is currently no scanner available that will trunk track MPT1327 (I don't consider Winradio to be a scanner, as you have to lug a laptop around for it to function).

My vote goes for Trunkview! Excellent program, if only a scanner company would incorporate it into a handheld

Trunkview gets my vote too.
However I have found it is one thing to decode the MPT1327 but it is another to get around to working who is who, especially the 20 channel networks that we have in Sydney.
Trunkview can also decode short messages (where used) sent on the network .

Tait have more experience and interest with MPT1327 than Motorola. In terms of MPT capability and ease of integrating 3rd party add-ons/mods, then Tait win hands down in my opinion.

I've never had any problems with a 80mhz T2010 that's been in my van for 5 years and never had to remove it, just keeps working.

My Taits are 400-470Mhz 3040II's I use 1 for a MPT1327 system and have 11 new in the box collecting dust. and a couple 2020 mobiles. When the federal government in Canada buys and uses Tait and their MPT system for customs and other departments over Moto that says something. (customs use the 3040).
