I see TETRA at the bottom of the page. It looks like they are a TETRA dealer to me.

The Chinese goverment is moving to Tetra for trunking so it makes sense that HYT would offer Tetra radios since the government there will be their biggest potential local customer. Looks like they also have MPT1327 radios - don't know if they are FCC or IC accepted for North America.

It appears that "dellsea" is an employee of HYT so maybe he/she is just trying to say "Hi" ...

HYT is a manufacturerof MPT and Tetra products. The chinese governemnt is moving to Tetra BUT has many, many systems using MPT, in fact most MPT infrastructure manufacturers offer CPS numbering (instead of MPT-1343 numbering). CPS is an alternate numbering system for the "Chinese Police System", a unique numbering system REQUIRED by clients in China about 6 or 8 years ago. HYT uses Zetron infrastructure for MPT and supplies thier own MPT mobiles and portables------of which most are type accepted for the USA. They TA them as they get sales interest in them per band. They have demo'ed that arrangement for two years at IWCE.
