Do you have the VHF Repeater included in this online stream?

I have heard very little traffic on that when I am up there and curious what the use is.

Just out of curiousity, do you have NAWAS running on your feed?

It was really hopping Sunday with all the storms in the area. Also, I caught an issuance of a high wind warning for the panhandle of Nebraska, issued out of Wyoming, Cheyenne I believe it was.

I have also caught numerous tests on NAWAS, I'm very impressed that one can hear places such as Valentine talking on it. Though, it is a telephone circuit relay, so I guess that the range shouldn't surprise me much.

I don't think any agencies around the op's location rebroadcast NAWAS like sarpy lancaster and hall counties due.

I realize that you are in West Point, but are you able to pull in Norfolk PD from where you are? I know
it's a bit of a stretch with the hills east of Norfolk, but it would be great to listen to them again.

I wish. I would be able to listen to Norfolk PD. But I have tried and the reception sucks. Doesnt help that they are on a low power 800mhz system. Even In my truck I have a hard time getting them you almost have to be in Norfolk to get them. When I get moved in the fall Iam going to put a tower at the new house and hopefully I can get above the hills and pull it in. I can hear Norfolk Pd when they dispatch for Statnon Co but I dont have that in the online feed. As soon as I get a new scanner I will try to get them in there.

When NPD or MSO is in Lincoln, the affiliate with the Lincoln Racom tower, and they come in loud and clear. That Racom network is just amazing, and some of the traffic I have picked up on it, just amazes me.

In winter, I can usually start receiving Norfolk RACOM and the NFD 800 repeater about highway 32 and 15 junction. That is with an outside 800mhz antenna on the car.

To the direct east though, it is not very good after Pilger.

Yes east of Pilger is NO good for 800 mhz reception. I wish there was more 800 mhz systems state wide.
