Hey, I was wondering what frequencies are used be the West Point PD? or do they get dispatched by the Cuming Couty sheriff's office on 460.2 ??? also-- what else would be worth scanning in West Point?....
I will be be visiting there for a few days soon.

TIA, Marty

They and all Law Enforcement in Cuming County are dispatched off of the 460.200 with PL of 77. Their unit numbers are 472x.

The Sheriff has a narrow band VHF Repeated channel licensed, with the lincense input is actually the output and the license output is the input. FCC Callsign WQEG672 Details

Rural Fire also uses 460.200 and Low Band(39.82, 39.98, and 39.9). West Point Fire uses 453.850.

You might put in the Tele Beep LTR and see if there is any use, might be some farmers in fields yet up there. They are more entertaining the most law enforcement up there.

The EMA freq is used only during storms and flooding.

Roads only talks a little and mainly during winter plowing season.

39.82 is used to call St. Francis Hospital from all the rural EMS units.

It be crazy if the farmers set up their own LTR and operating over OpenSky, ESK, C4FM, P25, etc., with data for real time farm reports and encryption to discuss the price they want for their crops, livestock, and strategic planning while pheasant hunting, etc...

That makes sense since I never hear anything about Wisner FD. Their license is expired since 2002. Callsign WNHV200

i see you have a typo on the sheriff/pd, the output should be 460.2, correct?

also, can you provide all that info for dodge, burt, or thurston counties, or do you just have access to your own?
