Default Douglas County Sheriff "A15"

Howdy, everyone!

While listening to some Douglas County Sheriff traffic on "Sheriff Common" around the bottom of the 10a hour today, the order was given for all responding deputies to go to "North Common - A9".

Following the move, communications appeared to break down, as most units appeared to be using portables.

After a few minutes of broken communications, another order was given for all units to go to "Car to Car - A15".

Does anyone here know what channel A15 is for Douglas County Sheriff? Would this be one of the NPSPAC "mutual aid" repeater frequencies?

Thanks and 73's

A15 is a conventional direct frequency I don't know what the frequency it is. I don't believe it is NPSPAC, those are in zone C.
Also OPD and OFD A15 are conventional direct frequencies, also unknown frequency. I believe this is programmed countywide, don't know if they are all the same frequency. The channel is displayed as RadioToRadio.
Don't know it they are analog or digital but believe to be digital.
What is north common? Is it part of the trunking system or not. If not what frequency if so what's the talkgroup.
Also I have notice a lot of traffic that on the talkgroup that is labeled as sheriff event 4 talkgroup 22 the past couple of days, sounds like training.

If I was a betting man I would place my bet on 866.5125 and hope I had a receiver close enough.

Good morning!

On further recollection, I believe I had to be listening, intially, to the Dispatch TG becuase when the order was given to go to "North Common - A9", my BCD396T displayed the name "Sheriff Common" (TGID=9), on the Trunking System.

Yep - Event 4 and TGID=25 have been busy with Training exercises yesterday and all of last week. I submitted TGID=25 as "OPD Training Academy" at one point, but that's clearly not correct. I think TGID=25 is part of the DCSO portion of the Talkgroup list.

Also, the CWS Detachment has been operating on 617 and Metro Area Transit has been operating the MAT1 and MAT2 (TGID=807) TGs for the CWS Shuttles.

It would be interesting, indeed, to find out what the A15 frequencies are for OPD, OFD, DCSO, etc. Clearly, a little digging through the FCC database is hereby indicated!

Default Dc a-15

This may be a I-Call channel. I remember seeing a channel sheet at one time and that was my recollection.

Thanks

That's what I though when I say a channel sheet for OPD and DCSO. Then I was looking at an XTS5000 Model 3 I selected A15. On the display it showed the Direct (simplex) icon and the signal strength indicator went a way on the display. So this channel is conventional simplex.
