I don't have the frequencies programmed in my scanner, but I searched the database, which I'm guessing you did too, and found only this information for Fire Marshal. Since I live in Lincoln, I'll program them in and see if I can pick anything up.

Frequency Description
39.66 State Fire Marshal
154.22 State Fire Marshall Mobile Extender
154.325 State Fire Marshall Mobile Extender

Interestingly enough, I happened to be by the Capitol building yesterday in Lincoln, and spotted a parked fire Marshal's car. As I rode by it, I checked it out for antennas but didn't spot any anything aside from the standard car am/fm antenna. I wonder if perhaps that have ditched radios and gone strictly cellular.

I remember listening to them in the 80's on the 39.66 frequency and they were mostly quiet, but when they did talk, they loved to talk! I know they had mobile phones then too, because I remember one incident in Waverly, and caught the Marshal on-scene calling back to the office on the mobile phone, and discussed a few things with another Marshal, so their moving to cellular these days wouldn't surprise me.

I'll put those freq's in my radio and post back if I catch anything.

I deal with them on a daily basis and they mostly have gone to using the 39.9 system to talk to county's some also use the countys they work with freq. All other is done on cellphones and alpha pagers.

I've kicked this around in my head for a few days. I'm not so sure that 39.66 is correct. I seem to recall from the early 80's that it was 39.86, can anyone confirm or deny this?
