Default ORIN Douglas County Rebanding

I got to play with a rebended radio from a county FD the channel line up changed a little bit with new channels and possibly new talkgroups
A1 COUNTY DISP
A2 OFD DISP
A3 MED DISP
A4-A11 FIRGROUND A4-FIREGOUND A11
A12-A14 LOCAL CHANNELS (now in zone B)
A15 WCFD (Washington County Fire Dispatch)
A16 FIRE 911
B1 COUNTY DISP
B2-B13 FB2-13(Fire Blocks) these will be used during mutliple FD incident These maybe new talkgroups or just reusing current talkgroups
B14 R2R (Radio to Radio)(now is zone A) this is still conventional unknown if it is simplex DIR no longer appears on the screen
B15 VEHILCE REPEATER (now in zone A) conventional unknown frequency
Zone C is the same as OPD Channels
The programmers put a sticker saying flashed with a check mark on the radios that have been rebanded.
I did not see MED 9 in the radio. LifeNet may start contacting FD directly on ORIN.
On a side sounds like LifeNet is using talkgroup 210 for the Omaha area, including dispatching.

Got to play with a XTL5K with procom96 running today.
Med9 is now D13 moved from A13.
The radio techs have to go back and reprogram some of the fire911 channels. They programmed the fire911 with the Washington county fire dispatch talkgroup instead of the fire911 talkgroup. It also sounds like the radio tech have screwed up some of the radio IDs aswell.
There is a talkgroup 65534 programmed in the 'blank' channels.

I don't know exactly when they started reprogramming the radios, I believe sometime in July. On a PDF file that I found on Douglas County's website it said about 80 days to do mobile 180 days to do portables and a total of three days to change the repeaters over.
This was for billing unknown how long it will really take. For the repeaters they are going to have a tech at each site reprogramming one repeater at a time, seven per day.
When they complete the rebanding process the radio tech have to go back ago to remove the old control channels.
The 85x.0125 are the rebanded 800Mhz frequencies they will not be part of the trunking system. For some reason they are listed under the license for the trunking system

I suspect they will do 1 channel a day at all 7 sites. 1 Technician could realistically do that with the
drive time involved.

Really, it isn't that big a deal to move this stuff.

In the report or contract it says that a tech will be a each site and they will change frequencies at each site simultaneously.
65 Days for Mobiles
120 Days for Portables
7 Days for control stations
2 Days for consolettes

Washington County will reband first then, Douglas County and finally OPPD.
Douglas County will serve as back up for Washington County if anything goes wrong.
Here is a link to one of the PDF files I found. The other file I found is from Motorola to the county which has more detailed information.
http://www.co.douglas.ne.us/dept/com..._08_V_G(1).pdf
It says the Saunders County sheriff, Wahoo Fire, NSP, ATF, Pott County Sheriff, Plattsmouth FD, CBPD and CBFD are included in the rebanding process for Douglas County.
