Major Fire in Norfolk

Major fire at Speedway Auto in Norfolk at this time 11:30 am. NFD on scene with mutual aid. Most radio traffic is on the NFD frequency of 854.9875. Entry into Norfolk on E Norfolk Ave blocked.

Isn't that a large auto salvage yard?

Yes it was Speedway Auto the auto salvage yard on the east end of Norfolk. Norfolk Daily News has pictures on their web site.

It sure would have been nice to listen to the action. But, the scanner feed for Norfolk is down again.

Yah why is that the Norfolk feed is always down??? There was also a fire in a motel room earlier in the morning I think around 4am not sure??
