Default Lancaster county feed

Come on, I know someone has an extra scanner to spare. It doesn't take that much to put a live feed up. I know there is livecbradio.com but that scanner isn't that great it doesn't have a delay and it covers everything on the Lancaster TRS not just PD and FD. When I used to live there 3 second delay worked great on PD and whatever on FD.

You do realize that it cost money to put up new feeds and it sometimes does take much to put it up. Depending on if you want to broadcast digital or not, you need $400+ for digital scanner (mine was $500+) and then you need to have a spare computer (and it needs to be on all the time, which costs on your energy bill). Please consider what it takes before implying that people can easily add new feeds!

You do realize that lancaster county is analog EDACS, an older scanner would suffice. You don't need a spare computer, the computer I'm typing this on right now is also providing a feed for Maricopa county AZ. The impact on the electricity bill isn't even noticeable. So yes it easy to put up a feed, maybe not for everyone, but for someone who has what is needed it is easy. Not to mention you get a premium membership, what is that worth?

I used to be the stream operator for the UP/BNSF rail stream over railroadradio.net.

Astrak, I did the same thing, ran the feed through my computer that I am typing this message on. No worries on the light bill, but it can be a real pain if you have an ISP that suffers from connectivity issues.

I am kicking around about restarting the feed. Only problem is my location. I am nowhere near as high up as I was in Bellevue, and rail traffic is nominal, both UP, which is a mile north of me and BNSFWB, (Burlington Northern Sante Fe Warren Buffett) spitting distance from me.
