Tg 3034
Over on the Humphrey Site, getting lots of encrypted traffic on TGID 3034. I did not get any RID info. How the talkgroups have been lining up, this may be a another Troop D encrypted talkgroup.
3034 was the former NSP Columbus TG before the talkgroups were rearranged.

Tg 60041-Humphrey Site
New talkgroup emerged this morning, this is an interesting one. This may be Motorola doing coverage testing with N-WIN Lincoln Operations Center. Lots of talk about signal strengths, radio checks and getting readings off RSSI display on the radio.
Other voice transmissions consist of the following and continued in this format for a while this morning.
Test tile 32740/Humphrey/91/DAQ-4/1144
Test tile 32307/Humphrey/83/DAQ-4/1149
Test tile 31906/Osceola/108/DAQ-4/1151
Test tile 31304/Osceola/113/DAQ-4/1153
Test tile 30903/Osceola/118/DAQ-4/1154
Test tile 29885/Osceola/119/DAQ-4/1155
The units sending back this information to dispatcher was Team 2/Control 2/Test Team 2 Baker.
RID's were 40006 and 31667

TG 60041, with the same people I heard over SquierStrat's stream wandered back over to Humphrey earlier, except one was doing testing over the Ogallala/Imperial Sites and another person testing between Cedar Bluffs and Humphrey Sites.
It appears Ogallala has coverage issues, there was a couple of transmissions that were broken. It sounds like Lincoln Ops flagged those areas.

TG 3002 Secure, seems to be used by Troop-A but I've seen some Troopers ?normally? associated with Lincoln on there...thought it might be a car to car, but Omaha's dispatch console was on there talking to the Troopers too...
Also saw RID 132239 logging on to the following TGIDs: 5, 33, and 611. (Edit-saw the earlier post about the possibility of 132xxx RID being capable ORION...hmmm...TGID 5, 33, and 611 are valid ORION TGs...hmmm....)
All of this off of the Plattsmouth tower over the last 4 days or so.
Oh, BTW...have seen attempts and what seem to be successful ICalls, but have not acutally monitored any on this system...anybody have any luck with them?
Peace

I think that has to do with the "Unmarked" Nebraska State vehicles people have seen around the area lately. I was listening to some of them on the Central Nebraska feed yesterday.

I was thinking the same thing. Here's the article for those who haven't seen it.

On talk group 60041 are they calling NSP dispatch centers?
Heard 4 calling Omaha on that talk group. Believe 4 is a NSP officer driving around testing the Troop A area.

The ones I heard (don't have TG's for you, sorry) were calling Omaha and Lincoln both.

Ive got a question about talkgroups on this system, and figured this would be the place to ask. I programmed this system into my scanners using this website a few months ago. (i actually have NO idea how long ago it was) But i have all of those talkgroups in my scanner, and they're no longer in the database. The talkgroups all have town names, and the tgid is always 31xx. What are/were these? why are they gone now?

There are two 31xx TG's listed for the Fire Marshal (3117 and 3118), one TG for NDOR (3124) which is a statewide TG, and the remaining in the 31xx series are Norfolk, Lincoln, and Omaha (3106 Lincoln, 3110 Norfolk, and 3114 Omaha) NSP Dispatch TG's.

Perhaps i worded that poorly. I am aware of the talkgroups you mentioned; those are in the database currently. Im asking about talkgroups that were in the database, but no longer are. a few examples are labeled "scottsbluff" "chadron" " bridgeport" "sidney" "lexington" "holdredge" "ogallala" "broken bow" "mccook" "hastings" "york" "st paul" "
What were all of these talkgroups, and why are they no longer in the database, is my question....

When the Radio system was first brought online, NSP had talkgroups that were defined by "Sargent Areas". An example would be Troop C used to have dispatch talkgroups called Grand Island, St. Paul, Hastings, Kearney, and York. A few months ago they did away with this talkgroup scheme and reprogrammed all radios. Now dispatch talkgroups for Troop C are named "C Dispatch 1-4". Same is true for other troops. Some of the old talkgroups numbers are being reused with new names.

That's what I was eluding to, I just shorted myself on words. My mistake.
