Can anyone tell me about Aircom in Omaha Ne? It is the dispatch for the Air Methods. But that is all I know.

I was mostly looking for buisness info but radio freq's would be cool too. Iam sure some interetsting things go on there.

Their office is by Eppley on Lindbergh Dr. They dispatch for multiple EMS services both ground and air throughout the country. Their dispatch center is broken up by regions Omaha/Iowa, Texas/Oklahoma, New York and Kentucky for examples. They dispatch for more regions but can't remember.

Locally they dispatch for LifeNet and star care in Nebraska.
They use RACOM for dispatch LifeNet in Norfolk, StarCare in Lincoln and various other EMS services in Iowa. They also use ORION for dispatching LifeNet helicopters based out of Omaha (CUMC and NMC). They also talked to LifeNet on 155.325(?) for patient reports.

Aircom does not dispatch for StarCare out of Lincoln. They contract with a service here in Missouri for dispatch services. I have some more inside knowledge on this but can't post publicly about it. Shoot me a private message if you would like further details. Aircom does dispatch for all Omaha lifenet aircraft, Des Moines Life Flight, and another service in Cherokee, IA.
