Just discovered NSRS NHP traffic in the 794Mhz band. Anybody have any info on this?
Wondering if this is a new NSRS site possibly as I am in Henderson?
Here are the active freqs containing EDACS voice traffic:
794.5625
794.6875
794.6375
794.7375
794.3625*cntl

Also discovered another strong control channel on: 794.7625

Thanks,
Tom

How are you tracking your frequencies, as a trunk set with a wildcard or individual frequencies? And also what is it set on FM? One other dumb question how is the squelch set. I am getting alot of noise, very few transmissions and only half the conversation

These are very likely to be image frequencies and not actually in use. The 794MHz range are the input frequencies for the 700MHz band. Repeater outputs should be in the 764MHz range.

Just doing a custom search in the 794Mhz - 799Mhz range.
Documenting all of the freq hits with voice traffic.

PSR-500 doing a custom search from 794 - 799Mhz range.
Mod is set to Auto.
Squelch is set 12:00
The freq hits I listed above are all EDACS analog voice traffic NHP.

I also should note lots of 764Mhz control channels appearing! This might be the new LVMPD opensky?
As I here these all over town...

Lots of 764mhz Control channels appearing I noticed when searching this band all over Las Vegas.
Thinking these must be the new LVMPD Opensky control channels.
All of the voice traffic I mentioned above for the NSRS are in the 794Mhz band, analog-voice, EDACS

Also 794.7625 appears to be the strongest control channel and might actually be Motorola?
Any thoughts?
