Winnemucca PD is dispatched by the Humboldt County Sheriff's dispatch center. They may share the SO's radio net. (I don't know one way or the other...just an observation). See the quote below from the Humboldt Sheriff's website:

"The Dispatch Center is the primary dispatch for Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, Winnemucca Police Department, City/County Animal Control, Bureau of Indians Affairs, Humboldt County School District Police, Humboldt County Volunteer Ambulance Corps, McDermitt Emergency Services and the nine Volunteer Fire Departments throughout the County."

The info I have is dated 2003 but in looking up some of the FCC licenses that I had for these freqs this is what i have. This came from a friend who travelled from Southern ID to Reno on a regular basis:

155.625 (inp 155.010) Humboldt County Sheriff Dispatch - KSI954 P/L 131.8
154.845 (inp 154.025 ) Winnemucca PD Dispatch - KSI954 P/L 156.7
155.310 - Winnemucca (Ch 3?) Car to Car P/L none
155.190 - S.O Car To Car/Tac
155.785 (imp 153.800) S.O unknown use (possibly another tac) P/L 127.3
153.770 (imp 154.415) Humboldt Fire WNHQ521 P/L 123.0
155.745 (imp 153.875) Humboldt EMS WPNS223 P/L 167.9
157.740 - Humboldt General Hospital KYP489
********************************************************
Others:
154.385 - Winnemucca Fire WPKC352
158.760 - McDermitt Fire District WQIC928
********************************************************
Recent find:
155.595 - Winnemucca Public Safety (that is what the listed use is in the FCC database) WQDV691

Again I haven't travelled to the area myself for quite sometime just as NVSHMOO has stated. I may be this summer so I dug out my NV binder with the majority of this info.
QUESTION I HAVE? NHP sites for Humboldt/Pershing counties what are they and (this may be a stretch) but along I-80 from Elko to Winnemucca?

Hope this helps (plus any help on the above question for I did good to find out from West Wendover to Elko last time.)
Thanks.

Check the DB for the talkgroups.

Anything labeled "Elko", and the one I think that talks about "Winnemucca Units" are good.

I used them when I lived in Winnemucca.

All the other VHF freqs you guys are posting are good. HCSO dispatches for all the agencies listed in an earlier post. They get pretty busy at times, especially when there are wildland fires.....
