Default Uniden bc346xt

I just picked one up at aes store in las vegas. It's going to take some getting used to. I think i'm going to have to wait for the software to come out before i begin to program in the trunking systems. I was able to load most of the metro frequencies out of the southern nevada scanner book and a few other conventional frequencies. Now if i can only figure out how to get the names in with the frequencies i will be all set.

All in all it seems to be working fine with the conventional frequencies. Good sensitivity and decent audio. Oh, and I did see the bcd396xt on the shelf but that was a little more money then i wanted to part with at the time. I'm just curious, is there anything in las vegas that is worth listening to on the digital side other then the air force base?

The TSA at the airport is digital and somewhat informal at times and can be found on
172.9000. If you wonder up towards Boulder City the Hoover Dam police is also digital and using 163.1250 along with some non-law enforcement activity from the Bureau of Reclamation on 167.975 which is often linked to parts of AZ well away from the dam.
