Default Programing Question/ScanControl/EDACS

Im trying to program my BC796D for the NSRS using the Data Graber in ScanControl. I don't Know what type of system to select.
ED-WID
ED-NAR
ED-SCT
Im not sure the differnce and would love any help in understaning the difference if these are even the right selections for EDACS.
Also any help in programing the EDACS system would be alot of help.I am familiar with Motorola Type II. Thats what is used mostly here in the Sacramento area.

EDACS Standard/Wide

Program all tower sites (or at least those you want) as "sites"

Program all freqs for each site in LCN order

I get irritating noise off the Caliente tower so I deleted it

Your scanner will probably scan faster/more efficiently if you divide the state into geographic areas and make each area a separarte "system", and only scan the system that's of interest at the time

I divided it up into thirds according to NHP Command Areas, more or less, and put just LV talk groups with the Southern Command, Reno talk groups with tower sites in the Northern Command area, etc. You could also do it by county if you were only interested in, or travelling through, certain counties, once you figure out the geographic location of the tower sites.
