I know the rebanding is not supported but I have tried this and it seems to be working just fine, anyone with more technical explanation can chime in. I loaded the cc's only and set the cc only to pl2. Seems to work just fine, I might be missing some stuff I don't know? Trial and error and sometimes you learn stuff.

What I noticed was this. Most of the sites are still using control channels and voice channels that are above 855.0000. With this, all you need do, for the time being, is program in the control channels and select the control channel only mode as you have done. But if you wonder on to a site that has the control channel or necessary voice channels below 855.0000, then you will have a problem if your scanner has not be updated for rebanding on Motorola 800 MHz systems. So what happened was a blessing for monitor radio listeners with trunking scanners not setup for true rebanding.
